Just back from a fab weekend in Barcelona. While it wasn’t a climbing trip, I did see two cool things:
- An inflatable climbing wall! Audi has set this up next to the Marina as part of a big sailing event. The wall looked essentially like a vertical bouncy castle, with climbing holds sticking out! The kids were loving it.
- Also saw some immense looking climbing when we took off from Gerona airport. I love flying and I think a big part of it is the incredible views you are treated to. Birds eye perspectives of our incredible planet. The cliffs and hills looked like they had a huge amount of potential. I had no idea what climbing was around there but a bit of research has revealed a huge amount of routes! The following article was on UKC (UK Climbing; a very popular site with an active forum).
